~ Hair and Uniform Check on Monday, 20 Mar 06 ~

Dear 05A2

School will be conducting the termly hair and uniform check when school starts on Monday, 20 March. This is part of our efforts to inculcate in you the Responsibility (one of our 4 core values) in your personal grooming, which is an essential requirement in the employment market. As students of Millennia Institute and being the 'cream-of-the-crop', it is imperative that you know how to groom yourselves in a socially befitting manner.

This means you do not come to school with long/dyed hair, skirt too short/tight, not wearing full uniform etc. All of you are expected to have your school badge appropriately pinned on the collar too. Please refer to the rules in your personal copy of the Studnet Handbook.

Please do not inconvenient me unnecessarily to issue you with a letter of warning and trouble your parents to sign the acknowledgement. Thank You for helping the school to help you.

~ Learning Style Training ~

1) Please inform your parents that you have been sheduled for Learning Style Workshop on 7 Feb (Tue) from 2.45 pm to 5.45pm at LT1.

2) Last reminder for the 3 students who have yet to pay the subsidised fee to Sabrina. Please do so by 6 Feb (Mon).

3) Students who have signed out from school last Thu and/or absent from school MUST submit their essay by 6 Feb (Mon).

SHUKRI - your group has not submitted the ppt slides and write-up for your IT Project. DEADLINE: 6 Feb. I will not grade any submissions later than that. That means, the entire group will get 0 out of the 10% weighting for Promo Exam.

This is not you, I hope!

Greetings 05A2! Happy New Year greetings from MADONNA and myself!
I hope you are enjoying your last long weekend of the year before I see all of you guys in school next Tuesday! I am looking foward to welcome you back to school.

Here are some administrative matters that require your attention and necessary action:
1) Please pay to our Class Treasurer (aka Sabrina) $14 by the end of the week for:
a) Photocopying fee $10 for Term 1
b) 2006 Student Handbook $4
2) Thermometer check - Please bring along your oral digital thermometer to class to check if it still works.
3) Students who need financial assistance are to get the necessary documentation ready for your application e.g. letter from your parents' employers.

Please help forward the message to your friends in class who may not be reading this.

Do come to check the entries on this blog daily to get updates as well as reminders on class admin matters.
